Editorial Team Responsibilities

The editorial team of INSANIA: Journal of Islamic Studies and Humanity is responsible for ensuring the academic quality, editorial integrity, and publication ethics of all manuscripts submitted to the journal. The team manages the peer review process, evaluates manuscript suitability, maintains communication with authors and reviewers, and ensures that published articles align with the journal’s aims and scope.

The Editor in Chief provides overall academic leadership, determines editorial policy, and makes the final decision on manuscript acceptance or rejection. The Managing Editor coordinates the editorial workflow, correspondence, manuscript tracking, and publication schedule. The Editorial Board supports the journal by providing academic direction, reviewing manuscripts, advising on journal development, and strengthening the journal’s scholarly reputation.

The Section Editors manage manuscripts according to their areas of expertise and ensure that each submission is evaluated by qualified reviewers. The Assistant Editors, Copyeditor, Layout Editor, Proofreader, and OJS Administrator support the technical, linguistic, formatting, and administrative aspects of publication to ensure that each article is published professionally and in accordance with academic standards.
